BEFORE EACH USE
Wash the utensil thoroughly with hot soapy water, rinse and dry.
PRECAUTIONS
Never leave empty cookware on heat sources. Do not allow the flame to overflow from the bottom. As soon as the contents come to a boil, reduce the gas or electricity supply: the bottom will maintain the temperature inside the pot.
Beware of salt: do not add salt when cold as salt crystals cause an electrolytic and chemical reaction capable of corroding steel. It is better to wait until the water boils.
CLEANING
Do not use detergents containing chlorine, such as bleach (sodium hypochlorite), as they can attack stainless steel. Avoid violent shocks and temperature changes. Do not cool abruptly. Do not use to store food containing citric, acetic or lactic acid. Use only products specifically designed for stainless steel to remove iridescent halos caused by overheating. To remove whitish stains caused by limescale, boil water with vinegar, allow to cool and wash normally.
