Yaxell Super Gou Ypsilon
was created as an elevated model of the Super GOU model with 161 layers, the No. 1 2016 knife from WIKI VID USA. From the Japanese-made SG2 Micro Carbide sintered stainless steel core, the 193-ply coated blade, to the elegant black Canvas-Mi- paper handle with inlaid samurai family crest, every element to be the best kitchen knife is present in the product. The hardness of the blade is 63 Rockwell. Exceptionally beautiful and perfectly manufactured, the Yaxell Super GOU YPSILON offers outstanding performance and is a pleasure to use. The blade is engraved with four Japanese characters meaning ‘Super GOU, the spirit of the samurai’. YPSI- LON – the name of the new model – is derived from the letter ‘Y’ in the German language. Y represents the Yaxell logo. Supplied with a beautiful wooden Katana sheath.

The Yaxell Super Gou Ypsilon chef’s knife is a Japanese chef’s knife with a 20 cm blade. This knife is a real all-rounder in the kitchen. It is large enough to cut a large amount of vegetables, meat and fish. Despite the length of the blade, the knife is easy to control. This is due to its great balance and razor-sharp edge. The knife is also ideal for chopping herbs, crushing peppercorns and peeling garlic cloves.

Made in Japan

Japanese knife manufacturing company, it originated 780 years ago in Seki, the city of katanas and Japanese blades. The production of knives was the evolution of the blades for katanas but the principles of craftsmanship and tradition have remained the same. Knives for everyday use that have different characteristics from normal knives. They are made of stainless steel that resists corrosion and with handles composed of resin and linen, which makes them ergonomic and resistant. The processing of the blades during production includes a heat treatment that makes them resistant and of an exceptional quality.
