Made of steel with synthetic inserts, this product fulfils the function of keeping precious utensils such as professional kitchen knives in the best possible way. Accidental knocks, as well as prolonged exposure to corrosive agents, can in fact ruin even the blades of the best steel, and this is why a knife cannot be left on the worktop or in a drawer without adequate protection.
This is why a knife block makes it possible to keep them at hand and safe at the same time; more specifically, the block presented here is ideally suited to house Global knives, whose style and design elements it recalls. There are eight grooves in which to insert the blades, of different sizes and lined internally and on the edge with plastic material for protection; at the base of the block, a sort of pedestal in synthetic material ensures its stability by making it adhere to the support surface.
The dimensions of the grooves are such that they can accommodate knives with small to medium blades (no more than 22 cm in length, however) and are therefore suitable for holding both products from the G line and those, smaller and with the characteristic triangular-shaped handle, from the GS line. The pattern drawn on the outer surface of the block, finally, embellishes the whole by recalling the ‘dot’ texture that has for decades characterised the handles of knives produced by the Japanese company.
