Coravin Pure™ Argon capsules power Coravin Timeless and Pivot™ devices. They are filled with pure Argon gas which pressurises the bottle to allow the wine to escape and replaces the volume inside the bottle to protect the wine once the system is removed. Argon Capsules are not compatible with the Coravin Sparkling™.
Power up your Coravin system
Unscrew
Slide up the SmartClamps™ using the vise release. Unscrew the capsule cover.
Install
Insert a capsule and screw the capsule cover back on quickly and completely, making sure there is no gap between the system and the capsule. Slide the SmartClamps™ down. Now you can pour.
Capsule life
Each capsule will allow you to pour up to 15 five-ounce glasses (150 ml) of wine with Timeless systems or 20 five-ounce glasses with Pivot™ systems.
