Planetary motion and precision speed
The KitchenAid planetary mixer was the first food processor with ‘planetary motion’. What is this? It means that the whisk shaft rotates in one direction and the attachments in the other, reaching at least 69 points of contact in the bowl. The high number of contact points means that the overlapping movement of the whisk shaft pushes the ingredients into the centre, without leaving out any ingredients.
This KitchenAid planetary mixer has 10 speeds to give you the precision you need for the job at hand. Just move the speed control lever and let the planetary mixer take care of everything. Whether it’s mixing pancake mixes, kneading bread, whipping cream or shredding chicken. Select speed 1 to mix gently, speeds up to 6 to beat and mix, and speed 10 to whip quickly.
