Dedicated to coffee purists: JURA presents the first full-size automatic machine with Coffee Only function. The D4 is characterised by its essential design, consistently expressed by clear, rigorous lines. It favours black coffee specialities, producing coffee and espresso with an intense, full-bodied aroma in the best barista quality.
UNRIVALLED AROMA
The AromaG2 grinder grinds the beans at the ideal time and fineness for each preparation. The patented variable brewing unit has a capacity of between 5 and 16 grams and guarantees ideal contact pressure and brewing conditions at all times. An extraordinary innovation, the Pulsed Extraction Process (P.E.P.®), optimises the extraction time for short specialities, turning coffee enjoyment into a true feast for the palate. The intelligent pre-infusion system (I.P.B.A.S.©) moistens the ground coffee before the actual infusion process. The pores of the coffee expand and release their full aroma during the subsequent infusion. The coffee descends into the cup covered with the characteristic thick, fluffy crema.
SPECIALITY USE
The minimalisa JURA art of brewing is also expressed in the simplest possible way. To start preparation of one or two cups of espresso or coffee, simply press the relevant easy-to-understand symbol. The classic two-cup preparation involves two brewing processes for an unsurpassed pleasure to be enjoyed. In addition to coffee, the machine allows the preparation of excellent tea thanks to the hot water function.
PERFECT WATER
The CLARIS Smart filter cartridge ensures pure water for an authentic taste. Thanks to the Intelligent Water System (I.W.S.®), the D4 automatically recognises the presence of the filter and signals when its capacity is running low.
EXTENDED FUNCTIONS
The optional use of Smart Connect allows the D4’s potential to be exploited to the full with the JURA Operating Experience (J.O.E.®). In addition to the spectrum of individualisation possibilities, it also extends the range of specialities with the addition of ristretto, double espresso, as well as lungo Barista and Barista coffee, two particularly digestible specialities. If desired, it is also possible to prepare two ristrettos, two espressos or two coffees in one brewing process.
