The large bowl has a capacity of 1.9 litres and can be used with the large cutting/mixing blade or the cutting/grating discs. The 0.7 litre small bowl is placed inside the large bowl and can be used with the blade to cut/mix smaller quantities. The small bowl is completely sealed, food does not come into contact with the large bowl underneath, saving on washing if you only need to process a small amount of ingredients
