*Processing takes on average 4-6 hours. The cycle time varies depending on the type of food being processed and the moisture content. The maximum processing time is 8 hours. The cooling phase takes another 30 minutes.

FoodCycler reduces food waste by over 80%** of its original volume, turning your food waste into sterile, odourless EcoChips. The shredding bucket can hold up to 2 litres of food waste which will be reduced to 0.34 litres of EcoChips. The food waste will reduce its volume in a few hours.
FOODCYCLER® 3-STEP SYSTEM
Thanks to an automatic 3-step cycle, the FoodCycler dehydrates, shreds and cools your food waste while filtering out odours and gases. During the drying phase, the food waste is dehydrated and the moisture is removed. During the subsequent shredding phase, the blades pulverise the food waste into small particles. The cooling phase cools the resulting waste – the EcoChips.
ODOUR-FREE PROCESSING AND STORAGE
The two replaceable activated carbon EcoFilters™ control and filter the airflow during the process, making a clean and odour-free cycle possible. Before the cycle and while the food waste is stored in the bucket, the lid with integrated activated charcoal filter helps to reduce odours in the environment.
COMPACT DESIGN FOR INDOOR USE
Designed for today’s homes and lifestyles, the FoodCycler is designed for indoor use and can be placed or stored anywhere. It fits anywhere with easy access in the kitchen, laundry room or garage, while the removable bucket with lid and integrated active carbon filter to control odours can be placed on the worktop or under the sink.
QUIET AND LOW ENERGY CONSUMPTION
Sophisticated sensor technology controls each cycle individually by monitoring the level of dryness and moisture of the food waste, so that maximum efficiency is achieved with minimum energy consumption. The FoodCycler uses an average of 1 kW per cycle. In addition, the rotating lockable lid prevents odours and noise during the process. Thus, during operation the FoodCycler is quieter than a dishwasher.
EASY TO USE AND CLEAN
Fill the bucket, lock the lid and press start. It couldn’t be easier. One-touch start button operation makes it easy to use and LED indicators show the different cycles in progress. If you need to add more waste during the cycle, you can use the pause function (only during the drying phase).
EASY TO CLEAN
The removable porcelain-coated bucket is durable and dishwasher-safe. This means that it can easily be placed in the bottom basket of the dishwasher for easy cleaning.
