The Edo collection of pots and pans by Alessi was designed by Patricia Urquiola and owes its name to the Latin word ‘edere’ (to eat). Edo is also the ancient name of the city of Tokyo. Italian traditions and Japanese influences come together in this collection characterised by simple and elegant lines. The designer’s Basque origins can be seen in the Basque-shaped lids. All the pots in the collection are characterised by curved brown handles that resemble cloth ribbons. With Edo you have the freedom to experiment with different recipes thanks to a functional and harmonious collection.
