The shape of the knife is specifically designed for cutting vegetables. The GF-36 has a long, flat blade designed to make full contact with the cutting board with every stroke and create clean cuts of every vegetable. The deep blade makes it easier to work with heavy vegetables such as sweet potatoes, pumpkins and beets. The front of the blade has a slight upward curve for slicing and dicing vegetables.
We recommend the GF-36 for professional chefs who chop a lot in the kitchen. This knife can withstand a lot of stress and is much more robust than its cousin G-5.
Being a fully forged knife, the GF-36 is made of a single piece of steel from the tip of the knife to the end of the handle and contains a solid tang.
