The story of Federico de Majo has its beginnings in the family business on the island of Murano (Venice). It was here,in the mid-1970s, that Federico de Majo began, and artistic glass generally. Thereafter, a feeling for the importance and enjoyment of good wine led him to set up a company dedicated to the design and production of tasting glasses.
Zafferano collections are mouth-blown and handcrafted by master craftsmen who still work as before. This craftsmanship makes every piece unique and different from others, and for this reason all the more precious. The distinctive logo, with the chalice and the Z of Zafferano within certifies that the product is handmade.
Mixture of transparencies and glass paste, Perle (pearls) of Federico de Majo combine unique materials and workmanship ancient and wise completely done by hand.
