The Demeyere stock pot has an extremely conductive InductoSeal base to ensure an even distribution of heat. This patented InductoSeal technology is based on the use of seven different alloys, sealed in the base and extending right to the rim of the cookware. When used on induction hobs, this material makes the pot up to 30 percent more efficient, but it is equally suitable for use on all other types of cooker.
The double-walled lid provides effective insulation.
Cleaning this stock pot is simple and easy thanks to its Silvinox® finish, an electrochemical treatment that removes impurities and residue of iron, refining the surface and giving it a silvery-white colour that lasts for many years to come. Fingerprints and other stains can be removed with ease.
The pot has a diameter of 20 cm and a height of 16 cm: it holds 5 litres and is perfect for cooking up a warming hearty soup, creating a risotto or boiling potatoes. A Demeyere stock pot from the John Pawson series provides you with a high-quality and technologically innovative utensil for energy-efficient cooking.
