Marcato confirms once again its attention towards the female world, supporting Komen Italia, the Italian affiliate of the prestigious International Institution “Susan G.Komen” of Dallas. The non-profit organization, in the front line in the fight against breast tumors worldwide since 2000, is based on voluntary work and has been operating for over 20 years to keep the attention high on women’s health, improving treatment opportunities and enhancing research and education for prevention. The company, on the occasion of pink month, has decided to create 3 sets of items to support the Komen foundation in the prevention of breast cancer. With the purchase of one of the sets will support the activities of the association and the Caravan of prevention.
Komen Italy is a non-profit organization based on volunteerism and active since 2000 in the fight against breast cancer throughout the country. It is the Italian affiliate of the prestigious international institution “Susan G. Komen” of Dallas, as well as founder of “Think Pink Europe“, a network of non-profit organizations with which it carries out a program of development of the Race for the Cure in Europe.
In Italy, Komen has center to Rome and operates in Lazio, Puglia, Emilia Romagna, Lombardy, Basilicata, Abruzzo and Campania beyond to a network of associations that extends in more than 100 cities. Komen has always helped in prevention by offering free mammograms, ultrasounds, psychological support, post-operative treatments and promoting a healthy diet to prevent breast cancer. In addition, more than 1.5 million euros have been donated in study awards to researchers.

DOUGH FOR THE PASTA
250g of “00” type soft wheat flour
250g of durum wheat flour (semolina)
5 whole eggs and water up to a total of 250g
Pour the flour into a bowl; add the eggs and water in between. Stir the eggs and water with a fork to completely blend them into the flour. Do not add salt!
Work the resulting dough with your hands until it is completely homogeneous and consistent. If the dough is too dry add more water, if it is too soft add more flour. A good dough must never stick to your fingers. Remove the dough from the bowl and place it on a lightly floured table. Continue, if necessary, to work the dough with your hands and cut it into small pieces.
ALTERNATIVE USES
In addition to fresh pasta, Atlas 150 can be used to make some bread products such as piadina, Arabian bread or carasau bread.
With this machine you can also prepare international dishes such as Ramen, Udon, steamed dumplings or spring rolls.
You can also prepare sweet dishes such as sugar paste decorations, Chiacchere, Strudel, Hojarasca and Baklava.
Maintenance: A cloth or brush is required. The combs are removable to ensure thorough cleaning. Atlas 150 is not water washable.
